I decided a long time ago to live in a parallel world where the paradigms are different. Since I don’t want to wait, I am building it day by day. Let’s enter the world of Urban Menus, which may motivate you to believe that you are a being who recognizes for himself what future he wants for his life and that of the next generations.

In order to design and realize the new campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, I took on nine roles. The additional role of networker seemed to me afterwards to be the most important. To this day, I am convinced that only with the right ALLIANCES can a consensus be reached that is necessary for the realization of urban wonders.

Currently, Laura P. Spinadel is diving into some of the most pressing questions of our time: how buildings can learn to think in cycles, how streets and neighborhoods can breathe again, how housing can remain green and affordable, how cities can live with disasters, soils, and wild rivers — and what a marketplace looks like that circulates talents instead of goods. For each of these questions, she brings together the sharpest and most diverse minds across continents and has them work across disciplines — a curated, transversal collaboration rather than isolated expert silos, supported by her tools Circularity Optimizer, Smart City Platform, and EnerPaths in Motion. The fact that these ideas, developed with URBAN MENUS, are drawing the interest of the World Bank, IFC, and the African Development Bank in Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, and the Middle East tells her: the parallel world she builds day by day is starting to knock on the door. #Moderator #Host #Workshopfacilitator #Lecturer #Curator
