The place where we live and what surrounds us has a decisive influence on our lives. Laura P. Spinadel is a visionary with big dreams, a person whose contribution to architecture changes lives. She is an award-winning urban planner, architect, author, teacher, and director of BUSarchitektur and BOA office for advanced randomness in Vienna. She is internationally recognised for her work on Compact City and Campus WU, pioneering projects in holistic architecture. She works on participatory, impact-orientated future planning through the interactive social game URBAN MENUS. She holds an honorary doctorate from the Civic Parliament of Humanity, Universal Institute of Nations.

Currently, Laura P. Spinadel is diving into some of the most pressing questions of our time: how buildings can learn to think in cycles, how streets and neighborhoods can breathe again, how housing can remain green and affordable, how cities can live with disasters, soils, and wild rivers — and what a marketplace looks like that circulates talents instead of goods. For each of these questions, she brings together the sharpest and most diverse minds across continents and has them work across disciplines — a curated, transversal collaboration rather than isolated expert silos, supported by her tools Circularity Optimizer, Smart City Platform, and EnerPaths in Motion.
