From a small town in Austria to the sets of some of the world’s biggest films, Jutta Russell’s career is a story of passion, skill, and determination.Trained in Paris and Vienna, Jutta began her journey in theatre, mastering wig and beard making on Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera. In the UK, she broke into film and TV with The Fifth Element and Saving Private Ryan, and went on to work on Harry Potter, Star Wars, Dune, Pirates of the Caribbean, War Horse, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.She’s created looks for many famous actors including Shirley MacLaine, Oscar Isaac, Martin Sheen, John Boyega, Richard Armitage, Paapa Essedu, Mark Gatiss, James Purefoy. In addition to her on-set work, Jutta shares her expertise as a guest lecturer at Pinewood Studios’ Creative Media Skills and London’s Delamar Academy.
