JUDITH P FISCHER
Artist. Curator. Lecturer

Judith P. Fischer is a multifaceted artist dedicated to exploring transformation and the development of form through sculpture, drawing, and photography. She earned degrees in both sculpture and music. For a long time, she balanced her passion for both disciplines until she shifted her artistic focus to sculpture (during a six-month scholarship abroad in Paris). In her artistic work, she explores the relationship between object and space through dynamic interactions of line, form, and texture. Her most recent works include DON'T TOUCH ME (2024), made of steel, PVC, and mirror, and XL-TENSION (2025), a wall installation made of elastomeric round cord that shapes both the wall and the space. Judith P. Fischer curates thematic group exhibitions. Dialogue with artists from other countries is particularly important to her. Since 2016 she has been teaching at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Department of Life Drawing, Institute of Art and Technology.
