Writer. Literary and cultural scholar.

Writing politically means asking questions about connections and dependencies. Eva Schörkhuber is a powerful writer, literary and cultural scientist, editor, and radio producer. Schörkhuber has taught at various universities, including as an ÖAD lecturer at Comenius University in Bratislava and as an author at the University of Havana. Currently, she is a research assistant at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) and a member of the Graz Authors' Association as well as from AUFKultur. She has been involved in multiple literary projects, including curating Vienna Sound Walks, the literature journal and network PS: Anmerkungen zum Literaturbetrieb/ Politisch Schreiben, the LiteraturPassage, the literature program on Radio Orange 94.0 and the international art and science project ÁGUA – Poetics and Policies of Water. Schörkhuber has conducted numerous reading tours across Europe, India, and Cuba, and received various awards and scholarships for her contributions to literature.
