EVA PETRIC
Writer. Poet. Artist. Performer
Eva Petrič, a Slovenian multimedia artist, lives and works in New York, Vienna, and Ljubljana. She works with photography, video, sound, performance, lace, (plexi-)glass, scents, and installations. Petrič holds a BA in psychology and fine arts from Webster University Vienna and an MFA in new media from Transart Institute New York/Berlin. Her work has been featured in over 125 solo and 140 group exhibitions worldwide, including Art Photo Basel, Photo London, the Cairo Biennale, and the Beijing International Art Biennale. She has exhibited at St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Vienna), Centro Cultural Borges (Buenos Aires), and the UN Headquarters (New York). Always pushing perspectives, mediums and her audience, Eva delivers work that now also goes beyond Earth to the Moon, as part of the LifeShip Mission in cooperation with Moon Gallery.
