Mair sees the art of creative people as an effective means and captures the courage, commitment and visions of various characters in the film.  A believer in self-worth and self-care and encourages these practices with everything she creates.

PRECIOUS_LIEBEnsWERT is a film about addiction in prostitution and paints an intimate portrait of three women who have ended up in prostitution due to drugs, poverty and trafficking in women and shows the abysses they fall into as a result. Liebes:Leben is a film about ways out of domestic violence and depicts the experiences of three women who have managed to get out of their toxic relationships. 

Carola Mair has been working in the field of documentary film for over 20 years. Her socio-cultural themes focus on human rights, gender equality and tolerance. The filmmaker usually gives women and children a voice in the media.
